Data processed by the extension
Detection and masking of sensitive data (names, emails, phone numbers, companies…) run entirely locally, in your browser, using a built-in AI model and rules. No prompt and no detected data is ever sent to or stored by CleanPrompt. Only the already-masked text is sent to the AI assistant you use, under your own responsibility.
Pro account
An account (Supabase, Google sign-in) is only required to activate the Pro plan. It stores your user ID, email address and purchase status. No prompt data ever passes through this account. This data is kept for as long as your Pro account is active.
Payment
Purchases of the Pro plan are processed by Lemon Squeezy, our merchant of record, which handles billing, VAT and refunds under its own terms. See Lemon Squeezy's privacy policy for details.
